Gabriel Lawrence (Raheem Monroe) has a MFA in acting from UC San Diego and is a proud Houstonian. Nikkole Salter (Playwright) Los Angeles-born, Nikkole Salter is an OBIE Award-winning actress and writer. Her other credits include; In the Continuum, Repairing a Nation, Of Great Merit. For her works she has received the NY Outer Critics Circle's John Gassner Award for Best New American Play (2006), the Seldes-Kanin fellowship from the Theatre Hall of Fame, and the Global Tolerance Award from the Friends of the United Nations to name a few. Carnaval received its world premiere production in Luna Stage's 20th Anniversary Season. Her new play LINES IN THE DUST is scheduled for its world premiere production at Luna Stage fall, 2014.

Amid an emerging acting/writing career, Ms. Salter’s deep sense of social responsibility led her to found and serve as Executive Director of THE CONTINUUM PROJECT, INC., a non-profit organization that creates innovative artistic programming for community empowerment and enrichment. Ms. Salter is an active member of the Actors Equity Association, the Screen Actors Guild/American Federation of Television and Radio Artists, and the Dramatists Guild. Awoye Timpo (Director) New York directing credits include: Chasing the Bird (Joyce Theater), Araby (La MaMa), The Vanished (site specific), Ndebele Funeral (2013 FringeNYC Overall Excellence Award – Best Play), In the Continuum (Juilliard), Tears of Anatolia (Columbia), My Sister In This House (NYU). Awoye has translated The Bald Soprano and Rhinoceros by Ionesco as well as The Vanished and A Crying Friend by Olivier Coyette. Latoya Murrary-Berry (Costume Designer): A Boston native, Ms. Berry received her degree in Psychology at Virginia State University. During her 12+ year career, Ms. Berry has curated signature looks for the world’s most esteemed celebrities including Nicki Minaj, Sean “P.Diddy” Combs, Diggy Simmons, Rev Run and Family and Rick Ross. Although Ms. Berry’s success has catapulted over the years, her passion for community service has remained unchanged. Ms. Berry is an avid believer of charitable giving as she has donated clothing to her alma mater’s fashion organization, the Alvin Alley Performing Arts as well as the Brooklyn Alternative Schools amongst others. In addition to clients who rely on her for editorial shoots and fashion shows, Ms. Berry’s expertise extends to television as she has worked on numerous award shows at TV Land, MTV Productions, and recently became the director of REVOLT TV’s New York Wardrobe Department. Her talent is not limited to the music and television industry however. When asked what’s next on the horizon, Ms. Berry shares her goals of broadening her expertise to film and sports, and expanding her clientele to actors, actresses and professional athletes. Ms. Berry undoubtedly is a force to be reckoned with and continues to build her legacy as a global fashion legend.

Kris Bowers (Composer) Pianist Kris Bowers is one of the newest and brightest lights on the jazz landscape. His formal training is rooted in jazz and classical music and his sound – though rooted in traditional styles – is open to numerous external influences that keep the music fresh and vibrant for a new century. Although considered primarily a jazz artist, Bowers has never been afraid to step outside of the genre’s traditional boundaries and dabble in other forms of music. This rich and eclectic sensibility is evident from the very first notes of Heroes + Misfits, his debut recording on Concord Jazz. Bowers earned a masters degree in jazz performance with a concentration in film composition from The Juilliard School, and won the coveted Thelonious Monk International Jazz Piano Competition in 2011.

Eric Sluyter (Sound Designer) is a sound artist and composer based in New York. Recently, he has collaborated with director Elena Heyman on The Sun Experiment (Helikon Rep/FringeNYC), with Justin Emeka on Romeo n Juliet (Classical Theatre of Harlem), with Carl Cofield on Dutchman (National Black Theatre/Classical Theatre of Harlem) and The Seven (Columbia Stages); with composer Jon Bernstein and director Mei Ann Teo on the new opera Wake (Columbia Stages); with Dana Salisbury onField, a dance for blindfolded audiences (Dixon Place); and with Delroy Lindo on Oo-Bla-Dee (NYU StageWorks). He also recently mixed Bruce Odland's design for the André Gregory/Wallace Shawn project Grasses of a Thousand Colors (The Public Theater). He presented interactive sound installation piece, Intermezzo, in Prague in 2012, and interactive sound and projection installation, Cosmic, at NYU in 2013. Emre Emirgil (Projection Designer) Brooklyn-based, visual designer and a seasoned VJ, Emre designs and produces multimedia projects and products. He is especially interested in projects that merge different branches of media. His experience and skill set in multimedia gives him the edge as a VJ for creating outstanding content and intricate theatrical setups including but not limited to 3D mapping and multi- source/multi-screen projections. He uses his extensive multimedia expertise for video, animation, website and print projects' design and production.
