TEER Spirit Awards Gala
Wednesday, June 14, 2017.
Held in month of NBT’s Founder’s Day, this Gala celebrates the life and legacy of Dr. Barbara Ann Teer’s establishing NBT, a cultural arts institution, committed to keeping soul alive in Harlem, 48 years ago. In addition, we honor the contribution of Fredrica L. Teer, NBT’s first Executive Director and Institution Builder who conceived and organized the foundation to make NBT a reality; and Adetunde Samuel, an award-winning charismatic performer and producer who led NBT’s Theatre Arts Program.
